Despite the downturn in the economy, it’s important to have a showroom that puts your best foot forward.  A showroom must display what you can do and tie together many different design elements.  Customers see the innovations in your showroom and want to see how those can translate into their own homes.  Even though customers can do most of their research online, they still need that one-on-one attention and interaction that only a showroom can provide.

Here at JB Cutting, we understand and support the need for an up-to-date space for your customers to come and interact with the latest and greatest thermofoil products.  Therefore, we extend a 50% discount on showroom orders.  When creating or revitalizing your showroom, here are a few things to keep in mind:

1.)    Keep on top of the latest trends.  You want to show the latest and greatest, so mix in some of the trending colors with your best selling standards.  It is likely customers will stick with the traditional/normal designs, but it shows your customers you are on top of the newest trends.

2.)    Provide a “hands-on” experience for your customers.  Doors that open, hampers that pull out, and drawers with soft close hinges are a few elements that can give your customer that touchy-feely experience they can’t get online.

3.)    Keep it fresh.  Many people recommend completely redesigning your showroom every five years.  In this constantly changing day and age, we recommend at least assessing how your showroom looks every year and changing out some standard thermofoil doors with more trending thermofoil colors.

4.)    Set a budget and stick to it!

5.)     Call if you need help.  We can steer you in the right direction in terms of which colors are popular and which are potentially being discontinued by our vendors.
