JB Cutting recently partnered with Closet America, a storage and organizational solutions company located in the DC area, to bring 3DL (thermofoil) to local window company Thompson Creek’s office renovation. Closet America encourages their clients to “think beyond the bedroom.” They create custom-designed, locally-built storage solutions for closets, offices, garages and more. If you can dream it, they can build it!
Not only is the design functional, featuring adjustable height desks and plenty of storage, the space is bright and inviting.
This project included 1.25” thick countertops in JB Cutting colors, Aria and Latitude North with a large bevel on one long edge. The door and drawer fronts were a mix of Glacier White and Aria. We pre-drilled the countertops to accept grommets and special hardware as well as boring the hinge holes on all doors and drawers to help with the ease of installation. Some of the benefits of using 3DL in this type of application include:
- 3DL features a “cleaner” look than edge banded components
- Unparalleled durability
- Easy to clean and maintain
This project is certainly the start of many office projects for Closet America. Spectacular!
