Kitchen Crashers is a kitchen remodeling show airing on both HGTV and DIY networks.  Host Alison Victoria meets up with potential “crash victims” at home improvement stores.  Once a suitable match is found, homeowners hand over the keys and what was a simple run to the hardware store ends with a kitchen transformation from “oh no” to “ooh-la-la!”

JB Cutting partnered with frequent show contractor, Maciek Przeklasa, head of Ipax Construction.  He was looking for a company with a quick turnaround, flexibility and matches to the melamine colors the designers had chosen. We had the chance to work with Maciek twice last year beginning with Episode 9’s crash headlining our Driftwood 3DL.

What really stands out is their use of JB Cutting’s frame doors.   Instead of inserting glass, they used a dry erase board, corkboard and chalkboard.  Very clever!  It’s a nice way of keeping your kitchen and daily life organized with the opportunity to pin up a calendar, make quick notes or even write out a chalkboard menu.  The wine rack is pretty cool as well!

Episode 10’s crash starred JB Cutting’s Spring Blossom 3DL in a shaker style door.  Again, they used our frame doors, but this time with a traditional clear glass insert so you can see what you’re storing up high.  The deep gray tones of the Spring Blossom really off-set the lighter tiles and countertops.  Grey is absolutely on-trend for 2016, as evidenced by the latest color additions to our 3DL and 5 Piece lines, River Rock and Breakwater.

Both episodes originally aired on March 14th, but you can catch them in re-runs on HGTV or DIY networks.  We’d like to thank Maciek and Ipax Construction for including us on these projects.  We can’t wait for the next opportunity to work with them again!
