This year’s IWF, or the International Woodworking Fair, will be taking place Wednesday through Saturday, August 20-23, 2014 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, GA. Why should you go? Well, this show features the largest showcase of machinery, materials, suppliers and services in the Western Hemisphere for woodworking and related industries. Want to find out what’s new and what’s next? The IWF in Atlanta is the place to be! There will be live demos of new machinery and products along with numerous networking opportunities. If you’re seeking info on how to grow your woodworking business and new methods of manufacturing, this is the place for you! With over 900 exhibitors, you’re bound to find something new and exciting. There are a few events going on that may pique your interest:
Challengers Distinguished Achievement Award Reception Wednesday, August 20th from 11am – 1pm Booth 5000 in Bldg. B This reception recognizes seven outstanding exhibit companies. IWF 2014 Opening Night Gala Wednesday, August 20th from 5pm – 7pm Network with friends, co-workers, etc. Georgia World Congress Center Ballroom Cost is $85.00 per person or $750 for a table of 10. Price includes food, drinks and music from a local Atlanta band. IWF Americas International Receptions Thursday, August 21st from 5pm – 7pm Georgia World Congress Center Ballroom This event is really two receptions occurring simultaneously for Canadian and Latin attendees.
