JB Cutting is always doing our best to keep up with the changes in products, colors and trends. So, new for 2016 is our line of exact match melamine (TFL) products: The Artisan Series! Some of the best attributes of this line include
- The availability in several styles (45 degree and 90 degree shaker profiles, 3 Piece and slab fronts) and colors
- Multi-directional grain
- The core materials are 100% recycled CARB II compliant
- Exact texture and color matches to TFL
In order to produce this line, sheets of melamine (TFL) are cut into stiles and rails which are then edge-banded, doweled, glued and clamped around a ¼” thick piece of melamine (TFL). To complete the part, the outside of the door/drawer is edge-banded. The 3 Piece and slab parts are cut out of melamine (TFL) and edge-banded. We expect this line to continually grown throughout 2016 to include matches to major TFL suppliers.
Like the Craftsman Series, the Artisan Series gives customers yet another option for that “real wood” look at a fraction of the cost. It’s durable, versatile, sleek and gives any design that extra something special. Just look at the closet pictured below – they opted for the 90 degree shaker profile and chose to mix their stiles and rails with a different ¼” center to highlight the drawers and give the overall design a warm, yet contemporary feel.
The Artisan Series is also great for kitchens and baths due to its increased durability. The kitchen below was done in the 3 Piece style and was decorated with simple fixtures to allow the woodgrain of the doors and drawers to shine.
