Sizzling New 3DL Colors for Summer

Blog

Early summer is heating up with six new 3DL (thermofoil) colors from JB Cutting!  It’s been awhile since we’ve brought on any new colors to our 3DL line, The Benchmark Collection.  We last announced the release of our Complex Solids Series at the end of 2014.  We’ve been focusing on the new additions to our 5 piece door line, The Craftsman Series.

Let’s take a look at the 3DL newbies!

Amazona

  • Amazona
  • Uniboard R62

Carnaval

  • Carnaval
  • Uniboard R61

Both Amazona and Carnaval are 3D linear brushed woodgrains.  These highly textured, straight grain colors bring a clean-lined aesthetic to your designs as you can see in the picture above.

Next on the list are Ginger Root and Cocoa Bean:

  • Ginger Root
  • Uniboard H72

H73 Cocoa Bean

  • Cocoa Bean
  • Uniboard H73

You may remember these two colors from our 5 Piece Craftsman Series.  Due to their popularity, we’ve brought these into our 3DL lineup as well.  These colors have a very fine oak-style grain.  Highly natural, both colors are destined for a variety of areas from store fixtures to closets.  Ginger Root’s organic feel pairs well with a pop of bright spring green gloss.  Cocoa Bean’s deeper grain can carry a design all on its own!

The last new woodgrain is Chalbi Clay.

  • Chalbi Clay
  • Tafisa L570

The deep, rich, dark brown woodgrain of Chalbi Clay in Tafisa’s new Origen texture is stunning.  It works especially well when paired with Pantone’s Color of the Year 2015 – Marsala.

Graphite Suedette, pictured below, is our only new solid.

  • Graphite Suedette
  • Tafisa L228 Slate

A dark charcoal gray with a slight navy undertone, Graphite Suedette is definitely a complex solid.  It’s also one of our super suede textured colors.  Graphite Suedette picks up the dark gray undertones of another one of our new colors, Carnaval.

We hope you find these new additions as interesting as we do!  These new colors, along with all of our available colors, can be easily viewed on the JB Cutting Order Page under the Colors Available section.  For your convenience, the colors are grouped by category.  All of our new colors are under category five.  Please click on them to view a larger version or contact us for a pressed sample.
